FAQ
The assistant doesn't know about my code
Your repositories need to be indexed before the assistant can answer questions about them. If you're an admin, trigger ingestion from the Admin → Ingestion page. If not, ask your administrator to check that your repositories are configured and ingested.
I can't see a feature described in this guide
Not all features are available in every setup. Your administrator controls which capabilities are enabled. If something is missing, contact your admin.
The assistant gave a wrong answer
This happens. AI models can make mistakes. A few things help:
- Correct it specifically — say what was wrong and ask it to try again
- Ask for evidence — "cite the file and line number" catches hallucinations
- Use @-mentions — referencing specific files gives the assistant exact context
- Vote on memories — if a surfaced memory was wrong, click Dislike to improve future accuracy
How do I stop a running response?
Click the Stop button (replaces the Send button while the assistant is responding), or press Enter with an empty input.
Can I use keyboard shortcuts?
- Enter — send message (or Allow Once in permission dialog)
- Shift+Enter — new line in the message input
- Esc — deny in permission dialog
How do I change the theme?
Go to Settings → General → Appearance and choose Light, Dark, or System.
How do I change the language?
Go to Settings → General → Language.
Can other people see my conversations?
No, conversations are private to your account. You can explicitly share a conversation by creating a share link (see Sharing), but otherwise only you can see your threads.
What happens when I delete a conversation?
The conversation is soft-deleted. You can undo the deletion immediately after. After that, it's permanently removed.
The page shows "Conversation Not Found"
The conversation may have been permanently deleted, or the URL may be incorrect. Click Start New Conversation to begin a fresh one.
The page shows "Access Denied"
You're trying to open a conversation that belongs to another user. Each conversation is private to the user who created it.
